Well, that your opinion is so because of two things:
- You never played TF2 and/or not fan of the series.
- You appear to not have read the IS (even though TF2 knowledge is not really required to get into the comic)

Yeah, obviously he will get better. If not, he is doomed to only be known by his curretn fan base (which marginally larger on the IS side (although many members are away)). Also, your example was weak, since that comic looks like anime. TO THE RAGE MACHINE!

But anyway. I am not criticizing Frenchy for no reason. I just remember and miss the good ol' IS time. You wouldn't understand.

Mmm nope, I don't personally think QC looks like anime at all. I am no anime fan. I was giving it as an example of a comic that started out very basic, drawing-wise, and got better and better, which can't be denied.

And nope, I neither played TF2 nor read IS, and frankly I'm not all too interested in it. That doesn't mean I'm saying Frenchie shouldn't continue with IS if he feels inspired for it, and I mainly commented because I think that "your drawing skills suck and people don't care about your current comic anyway" isn't the best way to get someone's creativity flowing, but eh...

Well, I recommend that you do read it. Even if you have never, ever played TF2, you will pick it up quite fast, since the characters are very well explained. Also, the models say alot about the character instantly.
So, go now! Read IS! And call us when you get back. (I enjoy our visits.... (blatant Incredibles rip off))

It appears to me that you are more interested in Z&S than IS. And that makes sense. However, you don't understand that as I much as good as Z&S is, it isn't a very successful venture at the current time. IS mostly, was. The thing is, Frenchie needs more members from a different audience, which as of now, barely knows him. Hell most of the people here are from IS, and they like Z&S. IS was and might still be a great way to get more attention. Which in turn will allow for Frenchie to not only get a larger audience, but will keep him with a backup project, so in case people don't like one thing, they would like another.

Because I posted IS on Facepunch in the beginning. And then on the Steam forums, so I got quite a nice big readership.

Considering ZnS is about a less popular topic, has fewer pages and hasn't been posted on FP (I don't wish to post it there anyway, as I've left that forum). I'm posting random frames here and there on different forums, and I assume that readers will end up coming. Let's not forget this comic concept is sort of experimental and my target audience isn't necessarily made of mythology nuts, but also of people who consider mythology a bit old and, well, not fun. I'm trying to fight that kind of reputation, see. My aim is not to have a shitload of readers and become a big webcomic mogul. It's to make something happen that I've been waiting for for quite a few years: making that comic project available for reading.

That makes more sense, I guess. Now, go off and do something that will forever impact the humanity as we know it.

Ahem, Even I need to say something at this point :P I loved I.S. and looked for pages regularly, ZnS not AS much but I still appreciate the fact that it is your inspiration now. I.S. had a good run but, for all intents and purposes its gone. Its a shame but its the authors choice at the end of the day, good luck in all your art frenchie :)
